Russia may be deprived of right to host sports events

European Union plans to deprive Russia of the right to host major international sports events because of political situation in Ukraine, Bild reported.

The mentioned events may include 2018 World Cup, Formula 1 Grand Prix in Sochi , Ice Hockey 2016 World Championships and 2015 World Aquatics Championships.

It is noted that the sanctions may be confirmed on September 23.
