Wrestling World Championships: Harutyunyan gives no chance to Turkish opponent

TASHKENT.  -- Greco-Roman wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan (Armenia) on Saturday advanced to the quarterfinals at the 2014 Wrestling World Championships that are held in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. Harutyunyan defeated Atakan Yuksel (Turkey) by a score of 7-1 in the 1/8 finals of the 66 kg competition. 

The Armenian wrestler had beaten Ove Mathias Gunther (Sweden) by a score of 8-0 in the 1/16 finals. 

Armenia’s Hrach Hovhannisyan (80 kg) and Vachik Yeghiazaryan (130 kg), however, lost in their first matches on the same day.
