Nanjing 2014: Armenia’s last representative becomes bronze medalist

Freestyle wrestler Sargis Hovsepyan (Armenia) placed third at the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games which are wrapping up in Nanjing, China.

Hovsepyan gave no chance to Carlos Arturo Izquierdo Mendez (Colombia) in the Men’s 76 kg Bronze Medal match on Wednesday.

As reported earlier, Armenian freestyle wrestler Vaghinak Matevosyan (54 kg) also won a bronze medal on the same day.

As a result, Armenia closed its Summer Youth Olympic Games campaign with seven medals (2 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze).
