Armenia national football team and FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod forward Arthur Sarkisov could part ways with the Russian club.

The 27-year-old player was not in Volga’s roster for their Russian National Football League—formerly called Russian First Division—match against FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg.

After the game, Volga manager Andrei Talalayev noted that the players who were not in the roster may leave the team.

“Due to the difficult [financial] situation [at FC Volga], proposals were made to several players, and now aspects for a mutual agreement are sought so that the club continues to exist,” Onedivision.ru quoted Talalayev as saying.

Volga’s Armenian midfielder Artur Minosyan, on the other hand, was in the club’s starting eleven in the aforesaid match.
