SC Bastia’s Brazilian forward Brandão has apologized to Italy international and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) midfielder Thiago Motta, for breaking his nose after the French Ligue 1 match between the two clubs.

“I would like to apologize to Thiago Motta and all my teammates for this act. I’m sorry for my action, but please be understanding,” L’Équipe magazine of France quoted the 34-year-old player as saying.  Subsequently, however, Brandão removed the aforesaid comment from his Facebook account.

As reported earlier, if the Ligue 1 management finds Brandão guilty, he will face a two-year ban.
