Alves, Balotelli and Terry take Ice Bucket Challenge

Brazil national football squad and FC Barcelona (Spain) defender Dani Alves, Italy international and AC Milan (Italy) striker Mario Balotelli, and England international and Chelsea (England) defender John Terry also have taken the Ice Bucket Challenge.      

The objective of this activity, which has gone viral throughout social media and has become very popular among celebrities, is to raise awareness toward amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Earlier, Portugal international and FC Real Madrid (Spain) striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Germany international and Bayern Munich (Germany) midfielder Mario Götze, Brazil international and Real Madrid (Spain) defender Marcelo, and Brazil international and Barcelona striker Neymar also had taken the Ice Bucket Challenge.
