James Rodríguez could join Real on July 21

Colombia national football squad and AS Monaco midfielder James Rodríguez may transfer to FC Real Madrid (Spain) on July 21, AS reported.

Monaco are engaged in active talks with SL Benfica (Portugal) concerning the transfer of Brazilian player Rodrigo, 23, who is expected to replace Rodríguez at Monaco.

The arrival of James Rodríguez at Real Madrid is tied to Argentine international and Real attacker Ángel Di María’s departure. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG; France) appear to be keenest to buy him.
