Mkhitaryan: In first months I thought BVB paid too much money for me
11:33 16 July, 2014I want to give back 200 of 300 percent of the transfer amount spent on me, said Armenia national football squad and Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
He spoke about his transfer value, first season at BVB, and missed scoring opportunities.
“But I can’t evaluate my performance in millions [of euros]. In the first [few] months I thought that they [BVB] paid too much money for me, but now it does not matter.
“I positively evaluate my first season at Dortmund. I’m glad that I can play here and get better. It’s possible that I didn’t use all my chances in the previous season. [But] I want to stand out more in the next season; I always want to score more goals.
“[But] I need to improve my game in all aspects. The coach told me that I need to continue like I was before,” the German Bild magazine quoted the 25-year-old Armenia international as saying.
