World Championships: Anush Grigoryan will fight for gold medal

Anush Grigoryan (51 kg) has advanced to the final at the 2014 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, which are held in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia.  In the semifinals, Grigoryan, who is Armenia’s sole representative in the women’s competition, defeated Alua Balkibekova (Kazakhstan) by a unanimous decision.  Grigoryan will face Irma Testa (Italy) for the gold medal. The final bouts will take place on Thursday. As reported earlier, Anush Grigoryan already has qualified for the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games.
