Stuart Pearce says he can lead England through EURO-2012

Acting England manager Stuart Pearce said he is ready to take the responsibility and lead the team through EURO 2012.

He was appointed acting manager after Italy’s Fabio Capello resigned. Pearce was supposed to prepare the team only for a friendly against The Netherlands, BBC reports.

One of the candidates to manage England is Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp.

Pearce said he has experience and would gladly manage the team if he is offered.
