Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) Manager Jürgen Klopp stated the above-said at the pre-match press conference ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg between FC Real Madrid (Spain) and his team. The German football specialist stated that BVB likewise have quality players including Armenia national squad midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
“He, [Gabon international and Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang, and [Greece international and Dortmund defender] Sokratis [Papastathopoulos] have adapted well to a new team. It is apparent that they have strengthened us,” the UEFA official website quoted Klopp as saying.
The Real vs. Dortmund first-leg clash will take place on Wednesday in Madrid, and the official kick-off is at 10։45pm, Armenia time.
