Sochi 2014: Armenia’s Mikayelyan and Yeghoyan are 46th and 63rd in skiathlon
15:21 9 February, 2014Two of Armenia’s four representatives at the 2014 Winter Olympics, which are underway in Sochi, Russia, competed on Sunday. Cross-country skiers Sergey Mikayelyan and Artur Yeghoyan took part in the men’s 30-kilometer skiathlon, and they came in 46th and 63rd, respectively, from among 68 competitors.
On February 11, Mikayelyan and Yeghoyan will compete in the individual freestyle sprint.
Aside from Sergey Mikayelyan and Artur Yeghoyan, cross-country skier Katya Galstyan and alpine skier Arman Serebrakian likewise will represent Armenia at the 22nd Winter Olympic Games.
