Spain offers to host Euro 2012

Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Angel Maria Villar offered to transfer Euro 2012 from Ukraine and Poland to Spain because of the unrest in Ukraine’s Dnepropetrovsk.

A series of blasts in the Ukrainian city alarmed UEFA representatives.

“UEFA has insisted that should the political situation in Ukraine becomes more unstable, the only possible option would be to postpone the tournament,” writes crunchsports.com.
