Luis Suárez wins England Player of the Year

England’s William Hill Football Supporters’ Federation Awards were presented in London, Liverpool Echo reports.

At the event, Uruguay national squad and Liverpool F.C. striker Luis Suárez scooped the 2013 Player of the Year award.   

Suárez has hit seventeen English Premier League goals so far this season.

As a result, the 26-year-old Uruguayan international managed to draw level with Portugal international and FC Real Madrid (Spain) striker Cristiano Ronaldo in the battle for the 2013 Golden Boot award.
