Armenia’s Patrikeyev, Aleksanyan qualify for London Olympics
01:33 23 April, 2012Aside from qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics, Armenia’s national Greco-Roman wrestlers Artur Aleksanyan and Yuri Patrikeyev also became winners at the Sofia Olympic qualification tournament in Bulgaria.
European champion Artur Aleksanyan (96 kg) defeated his Estonian opponent in the final of the Olympics tournament.
In the semifinals, Aleksanyan had defeated the Azerbaijani wrestler and already qualified for the Olympics.
And Beijing Olympics bronze medalist Yuri Patrikeyev (120 kg) defeated his Ukrainian challenger in the final of the Sofia tournament.
