Sport Express: Sarkisov stands out with speed and persistence

Sport Express of Russia set aside Armenian national football squad and FC Ural Yekaterinburg forward Arthur Sarkisov’s performance during his club’s recent Russian Premier League match against FC Terek Grozny.

“From the guests, Sarkisov stood out not solely with his speed, but also persistence. Grozny-born Sarkisov tormented the opponent’s defenders so much in his hometown that they ultimately made a mistake.

“Due to his and [his] teammates’ actions, Ural were awarded a penalty, which [Chilean international and Ural midfielder Gerson] Acevedo converted with a precise strike,” Sport Express writes.    

To note, the Terek-Ural match ended in a 1-1 tie, and Arthur Sarkisov played the entire game.
