Armenia’s Davit Safaryan wins gold of world wrestling championship

Armenian freestyle wrestler Davit Safaryan won gold of the World Wrestling Championship in the category of 66 kilograms.

In the final, Safaryan defeated bronze medalist of London Olympics Livan Lopez.

Armenian freestyle wrestlers have not won medals at world championships since 2005.
