Former world football champion dies in Brazil

Well-known retired footballer Djalma Santos died in Brazil at the age of 84, Terra writes.   

Santos was in hospital since July 1, and due to a lung inflammation, where he spent the last days of his life.  

Djalma Santos is considered to be one of the greatest right-backs of all time.

The Brazilian footballer started for the national team in four World Cups, winning two, in 1958 and in 1962.

Santos retired from football at the age of 41, and while playing for Atlético Paranaense of Brazil.
