Abidal becomes Monaco captain

Eric Abidal will wear the captain’s armband at FC Monaco, Sovsport.ru reports referring to club coach Claudio Ranieri.

Abidal moved to Monaco from FC Barcelona of Spain this summer on a free transfer. The French player signed a 1+1 contract with the League 1 club.
