Isco becomes one of Real’s lowest earners

Spain’s FC Real Madrid newcomer Isco will net €2-million-a-season in wages; this makes the 21-year-old one of the lowest earners of Manager Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Even so, the deal provides the opportunity for Isco, who will wear the No 23 shirt—which was worn by David Beckham—, to increase his salary in each of the next five years if he fulfils a series of performance-related objectives, Football España reports.

In addition, the fee Real Madrid have agreed with Malaga for the midfielder is to be paid in installments. After some intense negotiations Real are set to pay a fixed €24m in three stages with a further €3m in add-ons.
