Norair Mamedov may join Armenian football team in friendly against Greece
15:22 27 March, 2012YEREVAN. - Zwolle striker Norair Mamedov is likely to join the Armenian team in a friendly against Greece, Armenia’s head coach Vardan Minasyan said.
“I hope we will be ready by September. The most important is physical skills of our players and lack of injuries. We may see Norair Mamedov in a friendly against Greece,” he said at the meeting in Yerevan State University.
The head coach said Mamedov is in a good shape now.
“I will be present at the match of his team in the Netherlands on April 6. We will talk after the match and will make a final decision,” Minasyan said.
Nowadays, Armenian football players attract foreign clubs and the federation will do everything to use their potential to the benefit of the national team, he added.
