Sergei Kharitonov beats American kickboxer

MOSCOW. – Russian heavyweight Sergei Kharitonov knocked out American master of MMA Mark Miller during the first round of the Glory World Series tournament taking place in Moscow, Russia.

The fight of Kharatinov and Miller went according to K-1 rules (kickboxing).

To note, in 2011 the tournament was recognized as one of the most important events of martial arts and the American was a record holder as the owner of the ‘Fastest Knockout in the 2011 tournament’.

Before that match the American kickboxer had made bold announcements stating that he would end the Russian’s career in 30 seconds. But the threats of the American did not affect Kharitonov at all.
