16:47 9 April, 2024Head coach of Serie A leader Inter Simone Inzaghi commented on the victory over "Udinese" with a score of 2:1 in the match of the 31st round of the Italian championship.
"The guys are incredible. They always strive to show the maximum. We have 26 wins in 31 matches, but we don't need to dwell on the standings. We know we need eight more points in the remaining matches to win the title and we have to keep our concentration at the highest level.
I am a successful coach for leading such a team that fulfils my objectives every day. The only episode I can complain about tonight is the opponent's counterattack, but Mkhitaryan's incredible save in this episode is symbolic for this team," Inzaghi was quoted as saying by Inter's official website.
"Inter" (82 points) leads the standings and 14 points ahead of second-placed AC Milan.
