Miami Open: Karen Khachanov is in Round of 16

World No. 16 Karen Khachanov (Russia) has reached the Round of 16 in the men’s competition at the Miami Open.

In the Round of 32, the Muscovite Armenian tennis star faced world No. 21 Francisco Cerundolo (Argentina) and won in three sets: 6:1, 5:7, 7:6 (7:5). The match lasted 2 hours and 48 minutes.

Khachanov's opponent in the Round of 16 will be world No. 5 Alexander Zverev (Germany).

The prize fund of the Miami Open is $8.9 million.
