The awarding ceremony of the European vice-champion Samvel Gasparyan (102 kg) and bronze medalist Garik Karapetyan (102 kg) took place in Sofia.

Samvel Gasparyan lifted 396 kg (180+216). Garik Karapetyan won the bronze medal with the result of 394 kg (182 + 212).

The title of European champion was won by the world and European champion Evgeny Tikhonov (Belarus), having lifted 398 kg in the combined total.
