Monza hosted Milan and unexpectedly won 4-2 in the 25th round of the Italian Serie A.

After 25 games, Milan are third, with 52 points, in the current Serie A standings, and 2 points behind Juventus in second place. Monza are eleventh, with 33 points, while leaders Inter Milan have 63 points after 24 games.
