Eduard Spertsyan thanks Armenia fans
01:10 20 November, 2023Eduard Spertsyan, the midfielder of the Armenian national team and Krasnodar, thanked the Armenian fans in an Instagram post, reflecting on Armenia's 1-1 home match with Wales in the penultimate round in the group stage of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Armenia have lost the chance to advance to the finals of Euro 2024.
"(...) we demonstrated strong willingness to win, but it wasn’t yet enough. I‘d like to thank our fans for their unconditional support to our team! We need to stand united, keep faith in our strength and get ready for the next game against Croatia," Spertsyan wrote.
In the last round of the group stage, Armenia on Tuesday will be hosted by Croatia, which have not yet qualified for the Euro 2024 finals.
