Armenian legendary gymnast Albert Azaryan to be laid to eternal rest at Yerevan’s Komitas Pantheon
12:01 7 September, 2023The wake of Armenian legendary gymnast, three-time Olympic champion, world and European champion Albert Azaryan will be held at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yerevan on Friday, starting from 5pm, informs the press service of the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia.
The last farewell ceremony for Azaryan will take place Saturday, between 11am and 1pm at the Saint Hovhannes Church in Yerevan, and from 1pm to 1:30pm—at the sports school named after Albert Azaryan.
Albert Azaryan will be laid to eternal rest at Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan, on Saturday at 2pm.
The legendary Armenian gymnast passed away Tuesday at the age of 94.
