The Vegas Golden Knights have won the National Hockey League (NHL) Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history.
In Game 5 of the NHL playoff finals, the Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers 9-3 and won the series 4-1.
The Golden Knights, representing the US State of Nevada, made their NHL debut in 2017.
