Manchester United and Newcastle United played their matches that were carried over from the previous rounds of the English Premier League.

Man United hosted Brentford and won 1-0 (video).

Newcastle were hosted by West Ham United, and they beat their hosts 5-1 (video).

After 28 matches, Newcastle are third, with 53 points, in the current Premier League standings, and Man United are fourth, with the same number of points.
