Rio Open: Alcaraz loses in final

World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz has lost in the Rio Open final.

The Spanish tennis star competed with world No. 12 Cameron Norrie (UK), who won in three sets—5:7, 6:4, 7:5. The match lasted 2 hours and 41 minutes.

The prize fund of the Rio Open was $2 million.

Last year, Alcaraz had defeated Diego Schwartzman (Argentina) in the final of this tournament.
