Armenian football player proud of national’s goalkeeper
16:32 25 October, 2012Armenian midfielder of Khimki Moscow Artak Alexanyan said he would like to play with Armenian national goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky.
“I managed to play for the Russian U16 national. Later when I had to choose between the clubs, my friend who played for Spartak and I joined the Armenian national,” Alexanyan stated. “I wished to play with Roman Berezovsky. I did not know him at that time.
Then, I moved to Khimki and had a chance to perform next to him in one club. In fact, Berezovsky may be called a legend in Armenia. He is our pride,” the Moscow club’s official website quotes the midfielder.
