Spartak win the Russian Cup
20:14 29 May, 2022Spartak Moscow won the Russian Football Cup, defeating Dynamo Moscow 2-1 in the final.
Spartak forward Aleksandr Sobolev opened the score in the 11th minute. In the 56th minute, the return goal of Dynamo was scored by midfielder Arsen Zakharyan.
The winning goal of Spartak was scored by the Dutch forward Quincy Promes in the 73rd minute. Dynamo midfielder Daniil Fomin could not effectively use the 11th penalty kick against Spartak in the 7th minute.
Spartak became the winner of the Russian Cup four times. The last time it won the title was in 2003.
