Armenian national women’s team moves up one spot in FIFA rankings

The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) announced its new rankings for the women’s national squads.

In line with the standings, Armenian national women’s team moved up one spot and is now ranked 113th. 

The world’s top-ten squads are US, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Sweden, France, Canada, North Korea, England, and Australia.   

Armenia’s women are currently playing in the qualifiers for the European Championship. So far, the national team played six games and was defeated in all, and it gave away 38 goals.
