Per Mertesacker likely to miss EURO 2012

Germany and Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is likely to be left out of the EURO 2012.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said the defender will not play any more during this season.

A 21-year-old player got an injury in a match against Sunderland.
