Leap from 21.8 km height (VIDEO)

Famous Australian BASE jumper Felix Baumgartner who has done more than 2,500 jumps from helicopters, airplanes, high buildings and even cliffs jumped from 21.8 km, NPR informs.

The maximum speed of the flight was 587 km/h, the duration of free fall was 3 minutes 43 seconds.

The Australian became the third athlete jumping from that height.

Fearless Felix is not going to stop on that achievement and is planning to jump from 36.5 km height.
