World Chess Olympiad: Vladimir Hakobyan, Maria Kursova and Elina Danielyan win

At the 40th World Chess Olympiad Armenian men’s team leads 2-0 in a match against Bangladesh. Vladimir Hakobyan followed Levon Aronian’s lead defeating Bangladesh’s Abdulla Al Rakib.   In women’s tournament the Armenian team defeated Switzerland 3-0. Maria Kursova and Elina Danielyan defeated their opponents.    On Tuesday the Armenian men’s chess team defeated Bolivia’s team 3-1. Armenia’s Sergey Movsisyan was defeated by his opponent Oswaldo Zambrano, while another match between the Armenian player Vladimir Hakobyan and Jose Daniel Gemi ended with the Armenian GM’s victory.
