YEREVAN.- Champions League qualifications second-leg match between Fenerbahce S.K. and FC Spartak Moscow provoked many rumors. One of them is Spartak fans will carry posters condemning Genocide denial as well as the flags of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh to wave them in Istanbul.

NEWS.am Sport reporter reached the president of Spartak fan movement Oleg Semyonov for comments.

“The rumor was spread by the Azerbaijani websites and then circulated by the Armenian resources. Armenians were cited by Turks and then the reports were spread worldwide. Rumors are untrue,” he said.

Earlier Turkish hackers broke into FC Spartak Moscow’s official website posting the portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the following inscription: “Immediately apologize to the Turkish nation! FIFA [International Federation of Association Football] did not heed this fact, but we will not leave this crime unpunished.”

In the first leg match Spartak defeated Fenerbahce 2-1.
