The methodology for determining the current strength of the national leagues is unchanged since 1991 and has proved to be a sensitive and accurate indicator
Spanish championship tops the list followed by Argentina, Brazil and England. Armenia is ranked 79th, while Azerbaijan shares 111st line with Tahiti.
