The British Telegraph published an article in which the new head coach of Tottenham Andre Villas-Boas confesses that he did not agree witch Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s decision to release him.
“I respect Abramovich’s decision but I shall never accept it. He promised a lot to me but did not keep his word. It comes out that he lied. At first he was very interested in my candidacy when he invited me to Chelsea however later I was sacked and after I left the club won 2 trophies and everyone keeps saying what a good team it is but at first no one believed in them.
It was a tremendous learning experience which I am grateful in some ways to have gone through because it made me a better coach and a better person,” The Paragraph quotes Villas-Boas.
