Borussia Dortmund (BVB) CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke commented on the prospect of Armenia national football squad captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan returning to the German club, from Manchester United (England).
“This option is completely excluded,” said Watzke, according to Tribal Football news website.
There were rumors that Dortmund wishes—at the initiative of manager Thomas Tuchel—to loan Mkhitaryan in the winter transfer window.
The 27-year-old midfielder is not getting much playing time at Man United.
At BVB, however, the Armenia international scored 33 goals and made 114 appearances, from 2013 to 2016.
