Santa Teresa CD, a Spanish women’s’ football club which play in Primera División (women), have invited Uruguay national squad and FC Barcelona (Barça; Spain) forward Luis Suárez to their next match.
The reason for this invitation was Suárez’s recent statement that, “Football is a men’s game.”
The Uruguay international had made this statement after Brazil national team and Atlético Madrid (Spain) defender Filipe Luís had posted the photo of his foot, which was injured during Atlético’s La Liga match against Barça.
During this match, Luis Suárez was yellow carded for committing a rather harsh foul against Luís.
