Midfielder of the Armenian National Team and Borussia Dortmund Henrikh Mkhitaryan will become player of England’s Manchester United already the coming weekend.
The captain of the Armenian team will on Saturday leave for Manchester by a charter flight, Daily Mail reports. Mkhitaryan will sign a 4-year contract with the 20-time champion of England after undergoing medical examination.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s current contract with Borussia will last till summer 2017, the sides not having agreed on prolonging the term of the contract. As reported earlier, Manchester United paid 42.5 mln for the Armenian footballer. Mkhitaryan will sign a 4-year contract with the English club, his annual salary amounting to 12 mln euro.
During the 52 matches of the last season, Mkhitaryan authored 23 goals and 29 goal assists.
