Portugal on Saturday advanced to the quarterfinals in the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Euro 2016, which France is hosting.
In the Round of 16 of this tournament, the Portuguese defeated Croatia by a score of 1-0. Their goal came by way of Ricardo Quaresma in the 117th minute; three minutes from the end of extra time.
Portugal will now face Poland in the battle for the semifinals in Euro 2016.
