Man United make new bid for Mkhitaryan transfer

Manchester United do not lose hope of acquiring Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The 20-time football champions of England have increased their offer for the transfer of the captain of the Armenian national squad, reported the Mirror newspaper of Great Britain.

The new bid stands at £28 million (approx. €36.5).

Earlier rumors were circulating that Man United had offered €25 million for the services of Mkhitaryan, whereas Dortmund demand €40 million.

The footballer’s working contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2017, but the parties cannot come to an agreement on its extension.

The Armenia international’s Italian agent, Mino Raiola, had noted that the 27-year-old midfielder wishes to transfer to Man United.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has scored 23 goals and had 29 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions last season for Dortmund.
