Armenia’s Hripsime Khurshudyan wins gold of European Weightlifting Championships

Armenia’s Hripsime Khurshudyan has won gold of the Women’s European Weightlifting Championships 2016.

With 250 kg (113+137) result, Hripsime Khurshudyan took the first place and became the Champion of Europe during the women’s super heavyweight category competition coming to its end in Norway. The Armenian weightlifter was the best both in the snatch and clean-and-jerk exercises.

Another Armenian weightlifter, 17-year-old Arpine Dalalyan, came sixth with 213 kg (93+120) result in the same weight category.

Hripsime Khurshudyan repeated her success of 2007 and got the title of the Champion of Europe for the second time.
