Belarus team head coach: Armenian squad defense played well

The head coach of Belarus national team Alyaksandr Khatskevich touched on the draw in a friendly against Armenia at a press-conference following today’s match, as reported by NEWS.am Sport correspondent.

Khatskevich expressed his dissatisfaction with the game of the Belarusian squad, noting that there were many technical faults during the match. According to him, his team lost the ball in the simplest situations and did badly in passing from defense to attack.

Referring to the game of the Armenian national team, the Belarusian head coach noted that the latter has an apparent leader who shows a high-level game and leads the team. The rest, according to Khatskevich, have an average level, like in his team.

He also noted that the defense of the Armenian team played well. The defense of both teams was stronger today than the line of attack, the head coach added.

Armenia vs. Belarus match held at Yerevan’s Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium today ended 0-0. This was also the farewell match of legendary Armenian goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky.
