FEMEN activists sentenced to 24-hours in custody

FEMEN activists Inna Shevchenko, Oksana Shachko and Yana Zhdanova faced the trial in Kiev for peaceful action near the Olympic stadium.

The activists were sentenced to a 24-hour arrest. Thus, the court tried to cover illegal actions of police, the movement said in a statement on the official website.
