Had it not been for the objection by Real Madrid C.F. (Spain) Manager Zinedine Zidane, midfielder Isco would have gone to Arsenal F.C. (London, England) in the January transfer window, according to The Sun daily newspaper of England.
Arsenal were prepared to pay €45 million for the Spain international, and the Real Madrid management had agreed to this offer.
But Zidane blocked this transfer.
The parties, however, will return to this possible deal in summer.
