Spain national football squad and FC Barcelona (Barça) midfielder Andrés Iniesta was recognized the 2015 Athlete of the Year of Spain, the Barça website reported.
The award ceremony was held in Catalonia.
In the previous season, the 31-year-old player won all possible titles with his club.
Overall, Iniesta has won 26 titles at the Catalan club.
